ARpiCADE Raspberry Pi JAMMA Multigame Systems
HighScoreSaves is the official United States distributor for ARpiCADE, offering Raspberry Pi JAMMA adapters designed to integrate multigame systems with compatible arcade cabinets, controls, power supplies, and displays.
ARpiCADE systems connect a Raspberry Pi to standard JAMMA cabinet wiring, allowing the cabinet’s existing joystick, buttons, audio system, and monitor to be used with compatible arcade software. Choose from compact high-resolution adapters, full JAMMA interfaces for CRT or modern displays, and three- or four-player configurations.
The correct ARpiCADE system depends on your cabinet’s monitor, control layout, player count, and Raspberry Pi model. The ARpiCADE Mini is intended for high-resolution LCD or LED cabinets, while the standard and multiplayer adapters support traditional low-resolution arcade monitors as well as modern display configurations.

Choosing the Correct ARpiCADE System
ARpiCADE Mini for LCD and LED Cabinets
Choose the ARpiCADE Mini for a high-resolution JAMMA cabinet using an HDMI display or a compatible VGA display with the required converter. The Mini provides a compact installation with a fixed six-button JAMMA control layout, but it does not support low-resolution CGA arcade-monitor output or the four-player expansion board.
Standard ARpiCADE JAMMA Adapter
Choose the standard ARpiCADE JAMMA Adapter for a traditional one- or two-player JAMMA cabinet. It supports original low-resolution arcade-monitor connections and can also be configured for higher-resolution displays. Players 1 and 2 use the JAMMA harness, with optional connections available for additional action buttons.
ARpiCADE 3–4 Player Adapter
Choose the multiplayer system when the cabinet must support three- or four-player games. Players 1 and 2 connect through the JAMMA harness, while additional harnesses provide Player 3, Player 4, and extra-button connections when required by the selected game configuration.

A Raspberry Pi is not included unless the individual product page specifically states otherwise. HighScoreSaves-provided software images are generally configured for Raspberry Pi 3B and 3B+. Other Raspberry Pi models may require a separately supported image.
ARpiCADE FAQs
Does ARpiCADE use original arcade game PCBs?
No. ARpiCADE uses a Raspberry Pi and compatible software while connecting to the cabinet’s JAMMA wiring, controls, audio system, and display. It is different from a multigame kit that installs on an original arcade game PCB.
Does every ARpiCADE adapter work with a CRT arcade monitor?
No. The ARpiCADE Mini is intended for high-resolution HDMI or VGA displays. Choose the standard or multiplayer ARpiCADE adapter when low-resolution arcade-monitor output is required.
Is a Raspberry Pi included?
Not unless the product selection or individual product page specifically states that one is included. Review the selected configuration before completing the order.
Can ARpiCADE support six-button games?
Yes, with the proper adapter configuration and control wiring. The Mini uses a populated six-button JAMMA layout, while the standard and multiplayer systems can use optional harnesses for additional buttons.
Can I add three- or four-player controls later?
The standard full-size system can be expanded with the compatible four-player add-on and required harnesses. The ARpiCADE Mini does not support the four-player expansion.
