The Champion Edition installs on a compatible original CPS2 A-board and batteryless B-board. Supported games are loaded from a microSD card and written to flash memory, allowing the selected game to remain installed until another title is written. Games continue to run on original Capcom CPS2 hardware rather than an emulation platform.

Confirm CPS2 Compatibility Before Ordering

• Requires a compatible original Capcom CPS2 A-board and B-board combination.
• The donor B-board must be batteryless before installing the multigame kit.
• All original program ROMs must be removed from the B-board.
• A compatible microSD card is required and is not included.
• B-board revisions 93646B-5, 93646B-6, 93646B-7, and 97691A-3 include the CN9 connector for direct key-writing cable installation.
• B-board revisions 93646B-3 and 93646B-4 require four soldered connections to CN2 when key writing is needed.
• Without key-writing connections, the system is limited to compatible decrypted or patched game sets.
• Kick-harness requirements vary by game, and stable +5V power must be verified before installation.

A CPS2 key-writing adapter cable is available for installations using original, unmodified game data. A longer LCD cable and LCD protector are also available for installations requiring additional display placement or protection.
