How the Braze Congo Bongo Z80 Installation Works
Installation takes place at the original Z80 processor location on the Congo Bongo CPU board. The existing compatible Z80 is carefully removed from the game PCB.
The Z80 is then inserted into the empty 40-pin socket on the Braze daughter card. The processor's Pin 1 marking must match the orientation marking on the daughter-card socket and kit PCB.
The assembled daughter card is installed into the original Z80 socket. Before restoring cabinet power, confirm that the daughter card is fully seated, is not offset by a pin, is not installed backwards, and that the processor orientation matches the installation guide.
