Choosing the Correct Super Multipede Arcade PCB Upgrade
The HighScoreSaves Super Multipede upgrade is designed for documented compatible original Atari Millipede arcade PCBs only. It is not a Centipede-PCB upgrade and should not be selected based only on cabinet artwork or the game currently displayed in the cabinet.
Before ordering a Super Multipede high score save kit, verify the original Millipede PCB, 6502 processor location, compatible CPU socket, graphics daughterboard locations, ribbon-cable routing, ROM Saver requirements, and available board clearance.

Super Multipede 6502 Processor Requirements
Graphics Daughter Card Installation
Super Multipede uses a separate graphics character-set daughter card in addition to the main 6502 daughter card.
Millipede PCB Clearance and Riser Socket
A riser socket may be required to provide sufficient clearance near the Millipede PCB test points. Check daughterboard height and surrounding components before applying pressure or restoring the board to its normal mounting position.
Super Multipede ROM Saver Requirements
ROM Saver support allows the original program ROMs at documented locations 1H through 1M to be removed after the kit is installed.
Remove only the program ROMs identified in the installation guide. Label and store the original components so their locations remain documented for future service or restoration.

Game Selection and Settings Access
Game Selection: During attract mode, hold Player 1 Start for approximately four seconds, then release it to open the game-select menu.
Settings Menu: Hold Player 1 Start while turning the cabinet on. Release the button when the on-screen prompt tells you to continue.
Upright and Cocktail Cabinet Considerations
The kit supports documented compatible upright and cocktail Millipede configurations.
In cocktail mode, Centipede and Millipede support screen flipping. Super Breakout and Warlords use the Player 1 side controls.
