HighScoreSaves Menu and Game Selection

Bagman Standard Kit: To access the settings menu, hold Player 1 Start while turning the cabinet on. Release the button when the on-screen prompt tells you to continue.

Bagman Multigame Kit: During attract mode, hold Player 1 Start to open the game-select menu and choose between Bagman and Super Bagman.

For the Bagman Multigame Kit, holding Player 1 Start while turning the cabinet on still applies for supported HighScoreSaves settings-menu access.

Installation and PCB Requirements

• Both kits are designed for documented compatible original Bagman arcade PCBs.
• Access to the original arcade PCB is required during installation.
• Each kit installs at the documented 40-pin Z80 processor location.
• The original Z80 is transferred to the HighScoreSaves daughterboard unless a compatible processor option is selected.
• No soldering is required when the Z80 location already has a compatible 40-pin socket.
• If the processor is soldered directly to the PCB, a qualified arcade technician must install a compatible socket.
• The Bagman Multigame Kit may require temporary removal or adjustment of the PCB cage for sufficient daughterboard clearance.
• Remove only the designated program ROMs identified in the applicable installation guide.
• Verify Pin 1 orientation and inspect all processor pins before restoring cabinet power.

Which kit is best for Bagman only?

Choose the Bagman Standard Kit. It retains Bagman as the only selectable game while adding score saving, Free Play, settings, and optional Wi-Fi.

Which kit includes Super Bagman?

The Bagman Multigame Kit includes both Bagman and Super Bagman.

How is the HighScoreSaves menu opened?

For the Bagman Standard Kit, hold Player 1 Start while turning the cabinet on to access the settings menu.

For the Bagman Multigame Kit, hold Player 1 Start during attract mode to open the game-select menu.

Yes. Both kits permanently store qualifying initials with supported high scores.

Are separate score tables available for different lives settings?

Yes. Supported tables are maintained for two-, three-, four-, and five-life configurations.

Does installation require soldering?

Not when the documented Z80 location already has a compatible 40-pin socket. A qualified arcade technician must install a socket when the processor is soldered directly to the PCB.

Could the PCB cage need to be removed?

Some Bagman cabinet configurations may require temporary PCB cage removal or adjustment to provide clearance for the multigame daughterboard.

Is Wi-Fi required?

No. Standard kits save supported scores, initials, and settings locally. Wi-Fi is optional for online score submission.
