HighScoreSaves may refuse service, cancel orders, restrict account access, remove or limit content, or limit website access when necessary to protect customers, prevent fraud, enforce these terms, comply with law, or protect the website and business.
Purchases are also subject to the applicable Shipping, Returns and Store Policies, Warranty Information, and product-specific or checkout terms disclosed before purchase. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain our information practices; accepting purchase terms does not, by itself, consent to optional cookies, marketing, or publication of identifiable customer support material.
Products, Compatibility and Installation
Product Information
HighScoreSaves sells arcade-related products, including Free Play and High Score Save Kits, Wi-Fi Enabled kits, multigame kits, arcade parts, accessories, reproduction parts, software images, digital downloads, and related items.
HighScoreSaves works to keep descriptions, images, compatibility notes, installation information, pricing, availability, and specifications accurate. Errors and changes may occur. This does not remove our responsibility to supply products that conform to the agreed description and applicable legal requirements.
Product photos may show example items, installed examples, packaging, accessories, or related hardware. The exact product included with your order is determined by the product description, product options, and checkout details at the time of purchase.
Compatibility
Many HighScoreSaves products are designed for original arcade PCB hardware. Arcade boards can vary by manufacturer, production revision, repair history, socket condition, prior modifications, regional version, bootleg status, component condition, and overall board condition.
Customers are responsible for confirming that a product is compatible with their specific arcade PCB, cabinet, wiring, board revision, hardware configuration, and intended use before purchase and installation.
Compatibility information is provided in good faith based on available documentation, known hardware revisions, testing, and customer support history. Compatibility cannot be guaranteed for every board variation, modified board, damaged board, bootleg board, previously repaired PCB, or customer setup.
Installation Responsibility
Installation of arcade kits, chips, daughter cards, adapters, sockets, wiring, and related hardware should be performed only by individuals who are comfortable working with arcade electronics and original PCB hardware.
Customers are responsible for following all installation instructions, verifying chip orientation, confirming Pin 1 location, ensuring power is off before installation, and handling arcade boards with proper care.
To the extent permitted by law, HighScoreSaves is not responsible for damage to the extent caused by incorrect installation, reversed chips, improper orientation, bent pins, electrical shorts, damaged sockets, power supply issues, soldering mistakes, static discharge, improper handling, existing board defects, or customer or third-party modifications or repairs. This does not exclude responsibility for a defective product, incorrect instructions we provide, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Installation guides, videos, diagrams, photos, written instructions, and support information are provided as helpful resources. They do not replace proper technical knowledge, safe handling practices, or professional repair service when needed.
Product Availability and Pricing
Product availability, pricing, descriptions, images, shipping options, and product details may change for future purchases. Changes do not alter the agreed price or terms of an accepted order without your agreement, except as required by law.
If an order is affected by a pricing, listing, availability, or checkout error, we may contact you with available options or decline the order before acceptance. We will not charge an increased price or substitute a different product without your agreement. If we cancel an order, we will refund any payment collected for the canceled items and associated shipping charges, as applicable. Accepted orders remain subject to applicable contract and consumer law.
Placing an item in a shopping cart does not reserve inventory, lock pricing, or guarantee availability. Order acceptance is described in the Orders and Payments section below.
Before acceptance, we may refuse or limit orders for suspected fraud, inaccurate customer information, payment issues, unavailable inventory, restricted destinations, pricing or listing errors, or violations of these terms. Any cancellation after acceptance must respect applicable law and the customer rights described in these policies.
Customer Accounts
Customers may create an account to simplify future purchases, review order history, access digital products when applicable, manage account information, and use additional website features.
Customers are responsible for protecting their login credentials and for activity they authorize through their account. Please notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. This does not make you automatically responsible for activity outside your control or waive any applicable legal protection.
HighScoreSaves may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, prevent abuse, protect customers, comply with legal obligations, or enforce these Terms of Service.
Orders and Payments
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products. An automated order confirmation acknowledges receipt. We accept an order when we expressly confirm acceptance or dispatch the products; for digital products, acceptance occurs when access is provided. An order containing multiple items may be accepted in stages as items are dispatched or made available. These terms do not override mandatory rules governing contract formation.
For paid orders, successful payment authorization is required before processing. Payment authorization or collection alone does not constitute order acceptance. Free downloads and orders with a $0 total do not require payment authorization. We may request reasonable verification or decline an order before acceptance when necessary to address payment or fraud concerns. If we decline a paid order, we will release the authorization or refund the payment collected.
Payment processing is performed through secure third-party payment providers. HighScoreSaves does not store complete credit card numbers.
Customers should contact HighScoreSaves as soon as possible to request an order change or cancellation. An order already assembled, programmed, packed, or shipped may be too far along for an operational change or voluntary cancellation. This does not remove any applicable cancellation, withdrawal, return, or refund right.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing information, shipping information, and contact information during checkout.
Shipping
HighScoreSaves ships products within the processing times described in our Shipping, Returns and Store Policies whenever possible. Processing times are estimates and may vary depending on inventory, product assembly, order volume, holidays, carrier schedules, supplier availability, and other circumstances.
Certain products may require additional assembly, testing, programming, or quality control before shipment. If we cannot ship within the promised time, we will notify you, provide a revised shipping estimate when available, and offer the applicable choice to consent to the delay or cancel the unshipped items for a prompt refund. Where the applicable rules require cancellation because consent has not been obtained, we will cancel and refund the affected items. Notice alone does not replace consent when consent is required.

Delivery disputes, including packages marked Delivered but not received, suspected carrier misdelivery, incorrect delivery locations, and signature or delivery-record discrepancies, are handled under the Shipping, Returns and Store Policies.
Returns and Refunds
Return eligibility, refund procedures, return authorization requirements, inspection procedures, and refund processing are governed by the HighScoreSaves Shipping, Returns and Store Policies.
Customers should review those policies before requesting a return or refund.
Digital Products
Digital downloads, software images, activation information, download links, license files, and similar electronic products are generally treated as delivered when access is provided. Delivery does not remove remedies for inaccessible, defective, or misdescribed digital products under applicable law.
Because digital products cannot normally be returned after delivery, these purchases are generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or specifically stated on the product page.
Customers should verify compatibility before purchasing a digital product. Applicable software licenses govern permitted use and redistribution. Where consumer law requires express consent to immediate supply and acknowledgment of the loss of a withdrawal right, those requirements must be satisfied separately; these terms alone do not provide that consent or acknowledgment.
Wi-Fi Enabled Kits and Online Services
Certain HighScoreSaves products include optional online functionality, Wi-Fi connectivity, personal leaderboard pages, and Global High Score services.
Customers are responsible for configuring supported network settings, entering PK and SK keys correctly, and maintaining compatible network hardware when required. Online features depend on compatible hardware, internet connectivity, and service availability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and applicable product descriptions, warranties, and consumer rights remain in effect.
For initial Wi-Fi setup, customers provide their arcade or game-room name, name, location, timezone, and games owned. Email, initials, and a preferred display name are optional. Information supplied for leaderboard setup is entered and displayed on the relevant global and individual leaderboard pages as described in our Privacy Policy. Choose the information you provide with that visibility in mind. Customers must contact us to request changes or deletion; leaderboard details cannot currently be edited directly by customers. Technical setup and troubleshooting instructions are maintained on dedicated information pages.
Privacy and Cookies
Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how information is collected, used, shared, protected, and retained. Select Cookie Settings in the website footer to review or change optional cookie preferences. Acceptance of these Terms of Service does not constitute consent to optional analytics or advertising cookies, newsletter subscriptions, or publication of identifiable support messages, photos, or videos. Sending support material does not grant a blanket license to publish it.
Intellectual Property
Original content created by HighScoreSaves, including our text, photographs, graphics, product descriptions, documentation, logos, videos, and website design, is owned by Highscoresaves LLC or used under applicable permission. Third-party trademarks, game names, artwork, manufacturer documents, software, and customer-submitted materials remain the property of their respective owners. References to third-party products do not imply affiliation or endorsement unless expressly stated.
You may use our installation guides and resources for personal installation, operation, and maintenance of relevant products. Other reproduction, redistribution, commercial use, or republication of our original materials requires permission unless permitted by law or an applicable license. Third-party and open-source software licenses remain controlling for the materials they cover; these terms do not restrict rights those licenses grant.
Prohibited Use
You agree not to misuse HighScoreSaves.com or any services offered through the website.
- Attempt to interfere with website security or operation.
- Use automated systems to disrupt the website, bypass access controls, harvest private information, or collect content abusively or for unauthorized republication. Ordinary indexing of public pages by legitimate search engines is permitted, subject to our robots directives and reasonable access limits.
- Provide false or misleading customer information.
- Attempt fraudulent purchases or payment activity.
- Use the website for unlawful purposes.
- Upload malicious software or attempt unauthorized access.
- Violate applicable laws or regulations while using the website.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Website content and online services are provided on an "as available" basis. We do not promise uninterrupted website or leaderboard access. Installation resources are intended to assist with compatible products and do not replace safe handling or appropriate technical expertise.
Products remain covered by any applicable written warranty, product-specific commitments, and mandatory consumer protections. Nothing in these terms cancels or reduces the HighScoreSaves One-Year Limited Warranty or another warranty expressly applicable to your purchase.
We do not disclaim implied warranties where a written warranty or applicable law prevents that disclaimer. Where legally permitted, the duration of implied warranties may be limited to the applicable written warranty period. Some jurisdictions do not permit these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Product performance can be affected by arcade PCB condition, prior repairs, modifications, power quality, cabinet wiring, installation quality, environmental conditions, and normal aging of electronic components.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, HighScoreSaves is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from website use, products, digital downloads, or online services. Examples may include lost profits, business interruption, or lost data, to the extent those losses fall within legally excludable categories.
Where legally permitted, our total liability for a claim relating to a purchased product is limited to the price paid for that product. This limitation does not reduce express warranty remedies or refunds required by law.
These exclusions and limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, injury or damage for which liability cannot legally be excluded, or other non-waivable rights. They do not excuse responsibility for every instance of PCB, cabinet, component, or electrical damage. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limits, so those limits may not apply to you.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Highscoresaves LLC and its personnel for reasonable losses and expenses arising from third-party claims caused by your unlawful conduct, intentional misuse of the website, or infringement of another person's rights. This obligation applies only to the extent the claim is caused by your conduct and does not cover our own fault, an ordinary warranty or refund request, or the exercise of a consumer right. We will notify you of a covered claim and reasonably cooperate in its resolution.
Export Compliance and Sanctions
HighScoreSaves and customers each remain responsible for the import, export, customs, sanctions, and trade obligations applicable to their own activities. HighScoreSaves reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders that cannot legally be exported or shipped under applicable United States laws or destination country restrictions.
International customers are responsible for import duties, tariffs, VAT, GST, customs brokerage fees, taxes, and other government charges assessed by the destination country unless otherwise stated.
HighScoreSaves must provide accurate product descriptions, declared values, and country-of-origin information on customs documents and cannot undervalue orders or mark commercial purchases as gifts.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, United States, subject to any mandatory consumer protections or other legal requirements that apply to your purchase and cannot be waived by a choice-of-law clause.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms of Service or purchases from HighScoreSaves shall be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts located within the State of Iowa.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be interpreted as closely as possible to its intended purpose, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Force Majeure
HighScoreSaves shall not be responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Examples include severe weather, natural disasters, fire, power outages, internet or hosting outages, labor disputes, carrier delays, supplier shortages, customs delays, government actions, epidemics, pandemics, cyberattacks, or other unforeseen events.
If these events affect an order, we will communicate material delays and follow applicable delay-consent, cancellation, and refund requirements. This section does not automatically extend a promised shipment deadline or remove mandatory consumer rights.
Changes to These Terms
HighScoreSaves may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in products, services, website functionality, legal requirements, business practices, or customer support procedures.
The current version posted on this page supersedes previous versions for future website use and transactions. Changes do not retroactively alter the terms applicable to an order already accepted unless required by law or agreed to by the customer.
How These Policies Work Together
These terms provide general website and purchase conditions. The Shipping, Returns and Store Policies govern shipping and returns, and the applicable written warranty governs warranty coverage and remedies.
