Choosing the Correct Taito Multigame Kit
The correct HighScoreSaves Taito multigame upgrade depends on the actual Taito PCB stack, control configuration, and hardware family. These kits use original arcade hardware and should be selected from the board configuration rather than from cabinet artwork alone.
The Jungle Hunt | Elevator Action kit is the SJ Taito path. The Frontline Vertical Taito kit is the Frontline-style vertical path and may also support documented Jungle Hunt or Elevator Action hardware when the PCB and control requirements match.

Choose this kit when the cabinet uses documented compatible original SJ Taito Jungle Hunt or Elevator Action hardware and the goal is the seven-game SJ Taito multigame configuration.
Frontline Vertical Taito Hardware Path
Choose the Frontline Vertical Taito kit when the cabinet and controls match the supported vertical Taito hardware path. Documented compatible hardware may include Frontline, Wild Western, Jungle Hunt, and Elevator Action PCBs, with rotary-control requirements where applicable.
Z80 Main and Sound CPU Requirements
Socket and Soldering Requirements
No soldering is required when the documented Z80 processor locations already use compatible sockets. If a required processor is soldered directly to the PCB, a compatible 40-pin socket must be installed before fitting the daughter card.
Program and Sound ROM Removal
The documented Taito multigame installation process requires removal of specified original program and sound ROMs before the daughter cards are installed. Remove only the ROMs identified by the installation guide for the selected kit.
PCB Stack, Ribbon Cable, and Orientation Checks
