Each of the three kit options installs through a compatible 40-pin Z80 processor location.
When the original Z80 is already properly socketed, the processor can be removed and transferred to the HighScoreSaves daughterboard according to the applicable installation guide.
If the Z80 is soldered directly to the PCB, a qualified arcade technician must remove the processor and install a compatible socket before the kit can be installed.
