40-Pin Socket and Soldering Requirements
No soldering is required when the documented 6502 processor location already uses a compatible 40-pin socket.
If the original 6502 is soldered directly to the PCB, a compatible 40-pin socket must be installed before the HighScoreSaves daughter card can be fitted.
Targ Multigame ROM Saver Compatibility
The kit supports ROM Saver functionality. Documented original program ROMs may be removed so the supported game program can run from the upgrade.
Remove only the specific program ROMs identified in the Targ Multigame installation guide. Label and store the original components for future service or restoration.
