The HighScoreSaves Super Multipede Multigame Free Play and High Score Save Kit adds Centipede, Millipede, Super Breakout, and Warlords support to a documented compatible original Atari Millipede PCB. It also adds Free Play, permanent high score saving, serial EEPROM storage, attract sounds, menu-driven DIP settings, Reset Button support, Stealth Mode, ROM Saver support, upright/cocktail support, and optional Wi-Fi leaderboard support.

This upgrade is designed for original Atari Millipede arcade PCBs. It keeps the original Millipede board in service rather than replacing the cabinet with an emulation system, reproduction PCB, or multicade platform.

Atari Millipede Hardware, Free Play, and Cabinet Support

Free Play is supported, and traditional coin operation can remain available where supported. Warlords operates in Free Play mode only.

Upright and cocktail cabinets are supported. In cocktail mode, Centipede and Millipede displays flip correctly, while Super Breakout and Warlords use Player 1 side controls.

ROM Saver, Reset Button, and Stealth Mode

ROM Saver support allows original program ROMs from positions 1H through 1M to be removed when the kit is installed as directed in the Super Multipede installation guide.

Reset Button support allows a game to be restarted without powering off the cabinet, which can be useful during events, service work, testing, or setup.

Stealth Mode allows the cabinet to boot directly into a selected startup game or automatically load the last played game.

Installation and PCB Requirements

The optional Wi-Fi Enabled Kit includes the same local features and adds online score syncing through the HighScoreSaves global leaderboard platform.

Wi-Fi can be disabled without affecting Centipede, Millipede, Super Breakout, Warlords, Free Play, local score saving, game selection, ROM Saver operation, cabinet settings, or menu-driven options.
