The Darksoft CPS1/CPS1.5 kit replaces the original B-board with a flash-based multigame solution. It uses an included LCD selector to choose games stored on a microSD card and supports compatible CPS1 titles and CPS1.5 QSound games. The selected game remains stored in flash memory until another game is loaded.
Confirm CPS1 Hardware Compatibility
- Requires a compatible original Capcom CPS1 A-board with its sound section populated.
- Requires a compatible original CPS1 C-board.
- Long A-board model 88617A-7B is not compatible.
- Supported original C-board models include 90630C-4, 90631C-5, and 92641C-1.
- Installation includes board-level setup and wire connections; review the installation guide before ordering.
- A compatible microSD card is required and is not included.
The standard LCD selector is included with the multigame kit. An LCD protector and longer LCD cable are available separately for installations that require additional screen protection or mounting flexibility.
