The HighScoreSaves Elevator Action Multigame Free Play and High Score Save Kit upgrades a documented compatible original Taito SJ Elevator Action or Jungle Hunt arcade PCB with seven selectable Taito games, Free Play, permanent Top 5 score and initials saving, adjustable attract sounds, menu-driven settings, Backup and Restore, ROM Saver, advanced operator options, and optional Wi-Fi leaderboard support while retaining the original Taito SJ arcade hardware.
Elevator Action Multigame Compatibility & Requirements
Installation: The Main Z80 is removed from IC56 and installed on the Main HighScoreSaves daughterboard. The Sound Z80 is removed from IC52 and installed on the Sound daughterboard. The assembled daughterboards are then installed into their respective CPU sockets. If either required Z80 location is soldered directly to the PCB, a qualified arcade technician must install a compatible 40-pin socket before the kit can be used.

Two Z80 processors are required: transfer both compatible original Z80 processors from the arcade PCB, or select 1 or 2 replacement Z80 processors when ordering if needed.

Standard vs. Wi-Fi Kit
Standard Kit
Saves supported scores, initials, settings, and configuration data locally. No internet connection is required for gameplay, Free Play, game selection, settings, ROM Saver, or local score saving.
Wi-Fi Enabled Kit
Includes the same local features and can also submit qualifying completed scores to the HighScoreSaves online leaderboard.
Wi-Fi can be disabled without affecting local score saving, game selection, Free Play, settings, ROM Saver operation, or normal gameplay. Wi-Fi-enabled kits use compatible 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
Elevator Action Multigame FAQ
How do I open the multigame selection menu?
During attract mode, hold Player 1 Start for approximately four seconds to open the supported Taito SJ game-selection menu.
How do I enter the HighScoreSaves settings menu?
Power the cabinet off, hold Player 1 Start while turning the cabinet on, then release Player 1 Start when the on-screen prompt tells you to continue.
Do I need one or two Z80 processors?
Two compatible Z80 processors are required. One is used by the Main daughter card at IC56 and one by the Sound daughter card at IC52. You may reuse both original processors or add 1 or 2 replacement Z80s when ordering, depending on what your PCB needs.
Do the original program and sound ROMs stay installed?
No. The documented installation requires removal of the program and sound ROMs identified in the installation guide. The multigame kit will not operate correctly with those ROMs left installed.
Are replacement PCB stand-offs included?

Tarzan never looked so good!
Another great kit with multiple games. You can't go wrong with this lineup. Bought this for Jungle King but I play Elevator Action just as much. I love the variations of the Jungle King games. The wifi version is a must for this game!

Taito Multigame
One of my favorite multigame kits out there. I really like the so called common games, Elevator Action and Jungle King / Hunt but the reason I enjoy this kit so much is the lesser known games, Sea Fighter Poseidon, Time Tunnel, and Pirate Pete. There are free play options and high score save options for all games and easy installation. I highly recommend this multigame kit.
