RaspberryJAMMA (with ARpiCADE) — JAMMA Adapter for Raspberry Pi
RaspberryJAMMA is an adapter that lets a Raspberry Pi power your JAMMA-compliant arcade cabinet. It supports Raspberry Pi 2/3/4 hardware (we recommend Pi 3 / 3B+ for our images). Our images are compatible only with the Raspberry Pi 3B+.
Compatibility Notes
- Images: Only compatible with Raspberry Pi 3B+. If you already have a Pi, please verify that it’s the 3B+.
- Pi 4: ARpiCADE can run on Raspberry Pi 4, but our images do not. See the forum for Pi 4 topics.

Key Features
- True JAMMA output: Converts Raspberry Pi into a JAMMA board; ARpiCADE is the OS that runs RaspberryJAMMA.
- No cab mods: Works with normal JAMMA (optional kick harness). Configure 6 buttons on JAMMA via DIP switches.
- Video & audio: RGBS over JAMMA, or higher resolutions via VGA. Amplified mono or line-level stereo.
- Any ROM list: You’re not limited to fixed “60/645/900-in-1.” Add or remove games freely.
- Multiple emulators: Play arcade and console titles—even vector games.
- Trackball & fighters: USB trackball for Centipede; add a kick harness or map all buttons on JAMMA for Mortal Kombat / Street Fighter II.
