The HighScoreSaves Space Invaders Multigame Free Play and High Score Save Kit expands documented compatible original Midway or Taito Space Invaders arcade hardware with 10 classic games, Free Play, permanent score and initials saving, game-selection and settings menus, cocktail support, and optional Wi-Fi leaderboard submission while retaining the original arcade platform.
Space Invaders Multigame Compatibility & Requirements
Installation: Access to the original arcade PCB is required. Compare your actual board configuration with the installation guide and select the correct Midway or Taito version before ordering. Do not choose the version based only on cabinet artwork or exterior branding.
Important Taito CV070020 Shifter Board Requirement
If your Taito configuration uses the CV070020 Sound, I/O and Shifter Board, that board must contain a working MB14241 shifter IC. The Space Invaders Multigame kit will not replace or correct a missing MB14241.

What This Kit Adds
Space Invaders II is designed for cocktail play. It can be selected in an upright cabinet, but its display appears inverted when used in that configuration.
Standard vs. Wi-Fi Kit
Standard Kit
Saves supported scores, player initials, and game settings locally on the installed arcade hardware. An internet connection is not required for normal gameplay or local score saving.
Wi-Fi Enabled Kit
Includes the same local score and settings storage and adds qualifying online score submission to the HighScoreSaves leaderboard.
Wi-Fi can be disabled without affecting local score saving or normal gameplay. Wi-Fi-enabled kits use compatible 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.

The kit includes 10 supported games: Space Invaders, Space Invaders Deluxe, Balloon Bomber, Galaxy Wars, Jatre Specter, Lunar Rescue, Super Earth Invasion, Space Laser, Ozma Wars, and Space Invaders II.
Which original Space Invaders PCBs are supported?
The product supports documented compatible original Midway and Taito Space Invaders configurations. Select the version that matches the actual PCB installed in your cabinet.
How do I choose between the Midway and Taito versions?
Select the manufacturer of the Space Invaders PCB installed in the cabinet. Do not rely only on the cabinet name, marquee, or exterior artwork.
What does the Taito CV070020 board need?
The Taito CV070020 Sound, I/O and Shifter Board must contain a working MB14241 shifter IC. A board with that required IC missing must be repaired before the kit can operate correctly.
Does the kit replace the original arcade board?
No. It works with documented compatible original Midway or Taito Space Invaders arcade hardware rather than replacing the PCB with an emulator or generic multicade.
