Turn the cabinet on while continuing to hold Player 1 Start, then release the button when prompted on screen. The main settings menu will open. Scramble & Frogger Extended Scoring Scramble Supports extended scoring up to 9,999,990 points and selectable Konami and Stern difficulty behavior, including the faster fuel-drain behavior associated with the Stern version. Frogger Supports extended scoring up to 9,999,990 points and includes the supported music correction used by this multigame version. Multigame Version Differences A few visual differences are specific to these multigame versions: The End uses dot-style bullets, Frogger uses a blue street, and Anteater uses blue tunnels. What's Included Base Scramble Multigame Kit: Main daughter board for 1A/1C, sound daughter board for 3G/4G, graphics daughter board for 5F and 5H, PROM daughter board for 6E, and the interconnect ribbon cable used between the supported multigame boards. A compatible Z80 processor is required for the main daughter board and may be reused or selected separately when ordering. Standard vs. Wi-Fi Kit Standard Kit Stores supported high scores and settings locally and provides normal multigame operation, Free Play, game selection, menu settings, Backup and Restore, Reset, Self-Test, God Mode, Stealth Mode, and local high score saving without requiring an internet connection. Wi-Fi Enabled Kit Includes the same local functionality and adds qualifying online leaderboard score submission through the HighScoreSaves platform. Wi-Fi can be disabled without affecting local score saving or normal gameplay. Wi-Fi-enabled kits use compatible 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. Scramble / Super Cobra Multigame FAQ Does this kit work with bootleg Scramble PCBs? Yes. The kit supports documented compatible original and bootleg Scramble PCBs. Because board layouts and socketing vary, inspect the required CPU, sound, graphics, and PROM locations before ordering. Which games are included? Scramble, Super Cobra, Anteater, Frogger, Amidar, Armored Car, Turtles, and The End. How many high scores are saved? The kit saves the Top 10 supported scores with player initials for each supported game. Are scores lost when the cabinet is turned off? No. Supported scores and settings are stored in serial EEPROM and remain saved without cabinet power. Can I use Free Play and still accept coins? Yes. Free Play is available for coin-free operation while traditional coin operation remains supported when preferred. Do I need to purchase a Z80? No. A compatible existing Z80 may be reused. A compatible replacement Z80 can be selected separately if needed. Does installation require soldering? Not when every required location is already properly socketed. If the main CPU, sound CPU, graphics ROMs, or PROM are soldered directly to your PCB, the required sockets must be installed before the daughter boards can be fitted. How do I open the settings menu?
