Roc 'n Rope Compatibility & Requirements
Installation: Remove and safely store the original Konami1 processor, install the supplied Konami1 adapter at the original processor location, install a compatible 6809E on the HighScoreSaves daughter card, and then install the completed daughter card on top of the adapter. Verify Pin 1 orientation before restoring cabinet power.

Settings Menu Access
With the cabinet powered off, hold Player 1 Start for approximately four seconds while turning the cabinet on. Release the button when prompted on screen. The menu provides access to supported difficulty and lives settings, Free Play operation, score functions, Backup and Restore, and other kit-specific options.

Stores supported scores and settings locally and provides normal Roc 'n Rope gameplay, Free Play, Coin-Up operation, menu settings, score saving, and Backup and Restore without requiring an internet connection.
Wi-Fi Enabled Kit
Includes the same local functionality and adds qualifying online leaderboard score submission through the HighScoreSaves platform.
Wi-Fi can be disabled without affecting local score saving or normal gameplay. Wi-Fi-enabled kits use compatible 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.

The kit is specifically designed for documented compatible original Konami Roc 'n Rope arcade PCBs.
What happens to the original Konami1 processor?
