Mr. Do Compatibility & Requirements
Installation: Plug-in installation when the original Z80 is already socketed. If the processor is soldered directly to the PCB, a qualified arcade technician must install a compatible 40-pin socket before the kit can be used.

Permanently saves supported scores locally and provides Free Play, ROM revision selection, adjustable attract sounds, menu-driven settings, ROM Saver, Backup and Restore, separate score tables, Reset Button support, RAM Test, Stealth Mode, and other documented local features without requiring an internet connection.
Wi-Fi Enabled Kit
Includes the same local features and adds online score syncing through the HighScoreSaves global leaderboard platform.
Wi-Fi can be disabled without affecting local score saving or normal gameplay. Wi-Fi-enabled kits use compatible 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.

Which arcade PCB does the Mr. Do kit support?
The kit is designed for documented compatible original Universal Mr. Do arcade PCBs.
Which processor is required?
The Mr. Do kit requires a standard Z80 processor installed in a compatible 40-pin CPU socket.
Does installation require soldering?
No soldering is required when the Z80 processor location is already socketed. If the processor is soldered directly to the PCB, a compatible 40-pin socket must be installed first.
How many high scores are saved?
The kit permanently stores the Top 10 supported Mr. Do high scores using serial EEPROM storage.
Can I choose between the original and updated ROM versions?
Yes. The kit supports ORIGINAL ROM behavior or the UPDATED speed-hack gameplay option.
How do I access the Mr. Do settings menu?
Hold Player 1 Start while turning the cabinet on. Release the button when the on-screen prompt tells you to continue.
How do I run the built-in RAM Test?
Hold Player 1 Action while powering up to run the built-in RAM Test.
Are separate score tables supported?
Yes. Separate high-score tables are supported for 2-, 3-, and 4-lives settings.
What does Stealth Mode do?
