Megazone Free Play and High Score Save Kit for Konami Arcade PCBs
Upgrade your original Konami Megazone arcade PCB with Free Play, permanent Top 5 high-score saving with initials, serial EEPROM storage, attract sounds, menu-driven DIP settings, ROM Saver support, Flip Screen, and optional Wi-Fi leaderboard support.
This plug-in arcade PCB upgrade uses the original 6809E processor and authentic Konami hardware. Installation requires a socketed 6809E CPU. No soldering is required when the original processor is already installed in a compatible socket.

The original Konami PCB, 6809E processor, controls, sound hardware, and game program continue providing the authentic Megazone arcade experience.
This is not an emulator, replacement game board, or multigame system. The original Megazone gameplay, timing, controls, graphics, and sound remain intact.

Megazone Kit Installation Requirements
Compatible original Konami Megazone arcade PCB.
Easy when the original 6809E processor is already socketed.
Approximately 10–20 minutes.
A compatible 6809E processor is required.
The original 6809E processor must be installed in a compatible 40-pin socket.
The original 6809E is removed from the PCB, installed on the HighScoreSaves daughterboard, and the assembled kit is placed into the original CPU socket.
No soldering is required when the original 6809E processor is already socketed.
A qualified arcade technician must remove the processor and install a compatible 40-pin socket before the kit can be used.

Standard and Optional Wi-Fi Megazone Kits
Standard Kit
The Standard Kit permanently saves supported scores, initials, settings, and configuration data locally on the installed arcade PCB. It does not require an internet connection.
Wi-Fi Enabled Kit
The optional Wi-Fi Enabled Kit includes the same local score-saving features and can also submit qualifying scores to the HighScoreSaves online leaderboard after a player enters their initials.
Wi-Fi-enabled kits connect to compatible 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. Wi-Fi can be disabled without affecting local score saving, settings, Flip Screen, or normal gameplay.
