This HighScoreSaves kit adds permanent battery-free storage for the Top 5 scores and player initials while continuing to use the original Nintendo Mario Bros. arcade PCB, Z80 processor, controls, game program, graphics hardware, and sound hardware.
The kit also adds Free Play, selectable attract sounds, menu-driven settings, separate score tables for supported lives settings, score backup and restore, a reset function, Self-Test access, ROM Saver functionality, and optional Wi-Fi leaderboard support.
This product is not an emulator, replacement game board, or generic multigame system. Original Mario Bros. gameplay remains unchanged.

Standard and Optional Wi-Fi Kits
The Standard Kit permanently saves scores, initials, and supported settings locally on the installed arcade PCB. It does not require an internet connection.
The optional Wi-Fi Enabled Kit includes the same local score-saving features and can also submit qualifying scores to the HighScoreSaves online leaderboard after a player enters their initials.
Wi-Fi-enabled kits connect to compatible 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. Wi-Fi can be disabled without affecting local score saving or gameplay.

Like all of the other kids this one was a breeze to put on. You don't need a lot of knowledge or anything just follow the instructions and you're ready to go. Does exactly as it's supposed to and really makes playing my game more fun as I try to chase the high scores
