Kicker / Shao-Lin's Road Compatibility & Requirements
Installation: Plug-in installation when the 6809E processor is already socketed. If the processor is soldered directly to the PCB, a qualified arcade technician must install a compatible 40-pin socket before the kit can be installed.

Hold Player 1 Start for approximately 4 seconds while turning on the cabinet, then release the button when the on-screen prompt tells you to continue.

Standard vs. Wi-Fi Kit
Standard Kit
Permanently saves supported scores and settings locally. No internet connection is required for gameplay, Free Play, score tables, backup and restore, ROM Saver operation, or menu settings.
Wi-Fi Enabled Kit
Includes the same local features and adds supported online score submission through the HighScoreSaves leaderboard platform.
Wi-Fi can be disabled without affecting local score saving or normal gameplay. Wi-Fi-enabled kits use compatible 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
