This plug-and-play arcade PCB upgrade uses the original Z80 processor and authentic Data East hardware. Installation requires a socketed Z80 CPU. No soldering is required when the original processor is already installed in a socket.

The kit permanently saves every score shown on screen along with player initials. It also adds Free Play, Coin-Up support, menu-driven DIP settings, separate score tables for 2, 3, or 4 lives, attract-mode protection, backup and restore, Stealth Mode, and ROM Saver support.
This is not an emulator, replacement game board, or multigame system. The original Karate Champ Player vs Player gameplay remains unchanged.
