Saves supported scores locally to the arcade PCB and does not require an internet connection for gameplay, Free Play, Fast and Original modes, menu-driven settings, ROM Saver operation, Fast Boot, Stealth Mode, or local score saving.
Wi-Fi Enabled Kit
Includes the same local features and adds qualifying online score submission through the HighScoreSaves global leaderboard platform.
Wi-Fi can be disabled without affecting local score saving or normal gameplay. Wi-Fi-enabled kits use compatible 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.

Which processor does the kit require?
The Jr. Pac-Man kit requires a Z80 processor installed in a compatible 40-pin processor socket.
Does installation require soldering?
No soldering is required when the original Z80 is already installed in a compatible 40-pin socket. If the processor is soldered directly to the PCB, a qualified arcade technician must install a socket before the kit can be used.
How many high scores does the Jr. Pac-Man kit save?
The kit saves the Top 10 supported scores using serial EEPROM storage. Fast and Original gameplay versions maintain independent Top 10 tables.
Are different lives settings kept on separate score tables?
Yes. The kit supports separate saved-score tables for 1, 2, 3, or 5 lives.
How do I enter the Jr. Pac-Man settings menu?
Hold Player 1 Start while turning on the cabinet. Release the button when the on-screen prompt tells you to continue.
What does ROM Saver do?
ROM Saver allows designated original ROMs to be removed when the kit is installed as directed in the Jr. Pac-Man installation guide.
What bonus-life settings are available?
Supported bonus-life options include 10K, 15K, 20K, and 30K.

Great upgrade for an original Jr. Pac-Man
I installed this kit in my original Jr. Pac-Man cabinet, and it has worked flawlessly ever since. The installation guide was clear, the kit fit perfectly, and everything was running on the first power-up. Free play is a nice convenience, but the high score save feature is what really makes the game more fun since we can finally keep our best scores between play sessions.
The kit is high quality, requires no permanent modifications to the original PCB, and has been completely reliable. Shipping was quick, everything arrived well packaged, and HighScoreSaves provided excellent support before I ordered. If you own an original Jr. Pac-Man machine and want to add modern convenience while preserving the original hardware, this kit is an easy recommendation. Five stars!
