This is a multigame free play and high score save kit for original Gyruss arcade PCBs. This Gyruss Multigame High Score Save and Free Play Kit allows you to play Gyruss, Time Pilot, and Pooyan on your original Gyruss PCB without a switcher. Designed for original arcade hardware with no emulation, this kit installs directly on original Gyruss PCBs while preserving authentic gameplay.
Most Gyruss PCBs will require additional sockets: 3× 16-pin PROMs (GYA/GYB/GYC), 1–2× 16-pin LS377s depending on risers, and a 40-pin socket for the CPU.

Great kit with two awesome, trippy circular games. Oh, and also Pooyan. Complex to install.
This kit was kind of daunting to install at first but it powered up fine the first time for me. It helped that I just upgraded my soldering iron and solder sucker -- recommend a powered one with a vacuum since you'll be removing like 5 ICs and replacing with sockets. I also re-used the 40-pin Z80 that I pulled from the main board but its pins were a little rough after coming out. This is the first HSS kit I've done where the CPU wasn't already socketed and from now on I think I'll add a new CPU to the order for peace of mind.
The magnet with game-change instructions is cute & sticks right to the control panel. You want this
The kit menus are getting more sophisticated too! This one has animations & is totally badass. Being able to play Time Pilot once again with the proper joystick is well worth the price. Thanks!

I bought this for time Pilot and Gyruss but I play Pooyan just as much. Three great games on one kit. Oh...get the wifi version.
