Installation Requirements
Designed for documented compatible original Gyruss arcade PCBs.
A compatible socket is required at the Z80 CPU location.
Most original Gyruss boards require socket installation at these PROM locations.
Many boards also require socket installation at the LS377 locations.
No board trace cutting or special wiring is required beyond the necessary socket installation.
Before restoring cabinet power, verify Pin 1 orientation, processor alignment, socket condition, daughterboard seating, and all installed pins.
Standard vs. Wi-Fi Kit
Standard Kit
Saves supported scores locally to the arcade PCB. No internet connection is required for gameplay, Free Play, local score saving, multigame selection, or menu operation.
Wi-Fi Enabled Kit
Includes the same local features and adds qualifying online score submission to the HighScoreSaves global leaderboard.
Wi-Fi is optional and is not required for local gameplay, multigame selection, Free Play, menu operation, or local score saving.

Which games are included?
The kit includes Gyruss, Time Pilot, and Pooyan for compatible original Gyruss arcade hardware.
How do I enter the Gyruss Multigame settings menu?
Hold Player 1 Start for approximately four seconds while turning on the cabinet, then follow the on-screen settings menu. The video above provides a walkthrough of the supported options.
How do I switch between Gyruss, Time Pilot, and Pooyan?
The kit uses Stealth Mode Multigame boot selection to choose between Gyruss, Time Pilot, and Pooyan.
Does installation require additional socketing?
Often, yes. Many original Gyruss PCBs require sockets for the Z80 CPU, 3 × 16-pin PROMs, and 1–2 × 16-pin LS377s before installation.
How many high scores are saved?
The kit saves the Top 5 supported scores with initials for each game using serial EEPROM storage.
What is God Mode?
God Mode provides unlimited-lives practice while score saving is disabled.
What is Extended Scoring?
Extended Scoring supports score display up to 9,999,990 points.
Is Wi-Fi required?
No. Standard kits save supported scores locally. Wi-Fi is optional for qualifying online leaderboard support.

Great multigame upgrade for Gyruss fans
I installed the Gyruss Multigame Kit in my original PCB, and it has been fantastic. The installation instructions were clear, everything fit perfectly, and the kit started working on the first power-up. Having multiple game options on the original hardware adds a lot of variety, and the high score save feature is something I didn't realize I was missing until now.
The build quality is excellent, there were no permanent modifications required, and the games play exactly as they should. Shipping was fast, the packaging was secure, and customer support was responsive when I had a compatibility question before ordering. If you own a Gyruss cabinet and want to expand its capabilities while preserving the original hardware, this multigame kit is an outstanding upgrade. Highly recommended!

Great kit with two awesome, trippy circular games. Oh, and also Pooyan. Complex to install.
This kit was kind of daunting to install at first but it powered up fine the first time for me. It helped that I just upgraded my soldering iron and solder sucker -- recommend a powered one with a vacuum since you'll be removing like 5 ICs and replacing with sockets. I also re-used the 40-pin Z80 that I pulled from the main board but its pins were a little rough after coming out. This is the first HSS kit I've done where the CPU wasn't already socketed and from now on I think I'll add a new CPU to the order for peace of mind.
The magnet with game-change instructions is cute & sticks right to the control panel. You want this
The kit menus are getting more sophisticated too! This one has animations & is totally badass. Being able to play Time Pilot once again with the proper joystick is well worth the price. Thanks!

Three awesome games
I bought this for time Pilot and Gyruss but I play Pooyan just as much. Three great games on one kit. Oh...get the wifi version.
