The collection includes the original Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Remix, Donkey Kong Deranged, Donkey Kong Trainer, a pace-calculator version, Donkey Kong Tournament Edition, and Donkey Kong Remix Tournament Edition. Each selection provides its own purpose, settings, and saved high-score table.

A Donkey Kong Remix, Tournament, and Training Collection

This product is intended for players who want more than a standard Donkey Kong Free Play and high-score-save upgrade. It combines alternate stage designs, tournament configuration tools, advanced practice functions, pacing information, and increased-difficulty variations.

When the original Donkey Kong selection is chosen, the kit runs the Donkey Kong program ROMs from the original PCB. The other selections intentionally provide alternate stages, mechanics, settings, and challenges.

This is a separate product from the HighScoreSaves standard Donkey Kong kit, Braze D2K: Jumpman Returns, Pauline Edition products, and the HighScoreSaves 3DK Rearranged multigame system.

• Stage scoring displays: Show supported jump and smash points for each stage.

Donkey Kong Deranged Features

• Difficulty continues to increase beyond the standard Level 5 behavior.
• Includes additional Wild Barrel variations.
• Supports as many as eight fireballs or Firefoxes simultaneously during advanced play.

• Accelerates enemy spawning and barrel-release rates.

Compatibility and Installation Requirements

• Original hardware required: Designed for compatible original Nintendo Donkey Kong arcade PCBs.
• Board and ROM verification: Confirm that the original PCB and ROM configuration is supported before ordering.
• PCB access required: The Donkey Kong CPU board must be accessed during installation.
• Socketed Z80 required: The processor installation location must have a compatible 40-pin socket.
• No soldering when socketed: Installation does not require soldering when the Z80 is already installed in a compatible socket.
• Soldered processor: If the Z80 is soldered directly to the PCB, a qualified arcade technician must install the appropriate socket before fitting the kit.
