Key Features

  • Installs in minutes — no special wiring or soldering required.
  • Top 10 high scores and initials are saved permanently (no batteries ever).
  • Extended scoring: maximum score increased from 99,990 to 9,999,990.

Compatibility & Included Parts

Installation Overview

  1. Power down and open your cabinet to access the PCB.
  2. Carefully remove the 6502 CPU from the Asteroids board.
  3. Insert the 6502 CPU into the included daughter card.
  4. Plug the daughter card into the vacated 6502 CPU socket on the board.
  5. Power on and follow the install guide to verify operation.

How to Clear High Scores

Put the game into Self Test using the cabinet’s self-test switch. While in Self Test, press and hold all four buttons: Left, Right, Fire, and Thrust. The screen will display “ERASED” confirming the clear. (Same procedure as Asteroids Deluxe.)

Perfect to breathe some new life and fun into my game

So, I got this kit I wasn't quite sure if I would like it or not but I absolutely loved it! Not only was it super easy to install, but well worth the money and allows me to play my game opening up new opportunities. I put it in my cocktail Asteroids and it works just as well as it would with an upright machine. Plus, you can't beat the service you can get with HSS.

Our feedback: Appreciate it! Just remember, the HSS kit allows for selectable wiring harness and some other cool features!
