The HighScoreSaves Black Widow Free Play and High Score Save Kit upgrades a documented compatible original Atari Black Widow vector arcade PCB with Free Play, permanent Top 5 high score saving, adjustable attract sounds, configurable settings, multiple score tables, and optional Wi-Fi leaderboard support while retaining the original Atari vector hardware and gameplay.

CPU: 6502

CPU Requirement: Original 6502 must be socketed

Socket: Compatible 40-pin CPU socket

Soldering: Not required when the original 6502 is already socketed

Installation Location: Documented 6502 CPU position

Cabinet Support: Documented upright and cocktail configurations

Installation: Plug-in installation when the original 6502 is already socketed. If the 6502 is soldered directly to the PCB, a qualified arcade technician must install a compatible 40-pin socket before the kit can be used.

Saves supported scores, settings, and configuration data locally on the installed Black Widow arcade PCB. No internet connection is required.

Wi-Fi Enabled Kit

Includes the same local features and can also submit qualifying completed scores to the HighScoreSaves online leaderboard.

Wi-Fi can be disabled without affecting local score saving, Free Play, settings, or normal gameplay. Wi-Fi-enabled kits use compatible 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
