Berzerk and Frenzy Multigame Free Play and High Score Save Kit Upgrade documented compatible original Stern Berzerk arcade hardware with Berzerk and Frenzy, Free Play, permanent Top 5 score and initials saving, menu-driven settings, practice features, and optional Wi-Fi leaderboard support. This plug-in daughterboard continues to use the original arcade PCB, processor, controls, video hardware, sound hardware, game timing, and authentic gameplay. It does not replace the original board with an emulation or multicade system. Berzerk and Frenzy on Original Stern Arcade Hardware The HighScoreSaves Berzerk and Frenzy Multigame Kit adds modern score-saving and operator features while continuing to run the games on documented compatible original Stern arcade hardware. Berzerk and Frenzy retain their original controls, game logic, timing, graphics, sound, speech, and arcade behavior. The kit does not alter the games through emulation or replace the original PCB. Hardware Compatibility Original hardware: Designed for documented compatible original Stern Berzerk and Frenzy arcade PCBs Processor location: Installs at the documented 40-pin Z80 processor location Processor use: The original Z80 is transferred to the daughterboard unless a compatible processor option is selected Socket requirement: A compatible 40-pin socket is required at the Z80 location Cabinet compatibility: Supports documented upright and cocktail cabinet configurations ROM Saver support: Original program ROMs identified in the installation guide may be removed and stored safely Customize Your Berzerk and Frenzy Multigame Kit Choose a Standard Save Kit for local score storage or a Wi-Fi Enabled Kit for local score storage plus supported online leaderboard submission. A compatible Z80 processor and 40-pin socket may also be selected when needed. The processor location must have a compatible socket before the daughterboard can be installed. Open the HighScoreSaves Menu During attract mode, hold Player 1 Start for approximately four seconds to open the supported game-selection and settings menu.
