You can toggle between Original and FAST bullet speeds in the on-screen menu. How do I access the settings menu? All DIP settings are menu-driven. Adds a selectable game menu, high-score save, and Free Play with no soldering or special wiring required. Key Features Easy install — no soldering, board mods, or special wiring. Plug in and go. Boot to a specific game — optionally skip straight to your favorite. On-screen Game Menu — choose titles from an in-game selector. High Score Save — stores the Top 5 scores (per game). Free Play — no coins needed (sets 2 coins per game behavior when disabled). Coin Up — coins/tokens still supported. Menu-driven DIP settings — change options without opening the cabinet. An original, working Galaxian-hardware PCB (or compatible) is required. Does it really save scores across power cycles? Yes. The kit stores the Top 5 scores per game in non-volatile memory. Is Free Play supported? Yes. You can enable Free Play from the menu. Coin operation remains available. Do I need to change DIP switches? Set DIP3 = ON, DIP4 = ON, DIP5 = OFF to allow saving and proper operation. Will this work in a cocktail cabinet? Yes. The kit supports both Upright and Cocktail cabinets. What about joystick requirements? Use a 4-way joystick for correct movement on all supported titles. Can I remove my original program ROMs? Yes. The ROM Saver feature allows removing program ROMs to reduce power and socket issues. Do I need extra wiring? Most installs are plug-and-play. Some harnesses may need UP/DOWN wires added for specific games.
