Learn More About This Kit Click a button to view details, tips, or the installation guide: This Gyruss Multigame High Score Save and Free Play Kit allows you to play Gyruss, Time Pilot, and Pooyan on your original Gyruss PCB without a switcher! Some Gyruss boards will require sockets to be installed for the kit to work. This kit is designed only for the original Gyruss PCB. Most Gyruss PCBs will require soldering in sockets: at least three 16-pin for GYA/GYB/GYC PROMs, plus 1–2 additional 16-pin sockets for LS377s (depending on whether riser boards are present), and a 40-pin socket for the CPU if not already installed. Check your board before ordering! Install Info – No board modifications or special wiring required (though most Gyruss PCBs will need socket work for the new Multi Kit). Features Easy install – Plug in and go (no modifications or wiring). Save your scores forever – Uses reliable serial EEPROM (not NVRAM or batteries). High Score Save – Saves the Top 5 scores with initials. Attract Sounds – Hear attract mode audio at 25%, 50%, or 100%. Freeplay – Start games without coins or opening the coin door. No. Even in Freeplay mode, the Coin Up feature still works if you want to use coins. What is “Stealth Mode”? Stealth Mode lets the game boot as if it’s stock.
