Darksoft CPS2 Key Writing Adapter Cable (Champion Edition) The Darksoft CPS2 Key Writing Adapter Cable is required when using a Darksoft CPS2 Multigame Kit – Champion Edition with original, untouched CPS2 ROM sets. This 4-wire harness connects the multigame kit’s J18 header (located next to the microSD slot) to the CPS2 B-board key connector, enabling key-writing functionality supported by Champion Edition firmware. This cable is intended for arcade collectors and technicians working with original Capcom CPS2 hardware who wish to preserve authentic ROM operation while using a Darksoft multigame solution. What This Cable Does Connects the Darksoft CPS2 multigame J18 header to the CPS2 B-board key connector. Implements the key-writing signals: DATA, CLOCK, SETUP1, and SETUP2. Allows use of original, unmodified CPS2 ROM sets when supported by Champion Edition firmware. Approximate overall length: 6 inches for clean internal routing.
