About this kit: Play the Exidy 440 classics on your original Exidy 440 PCB—no switcher required. Designed exclusively for original Exidy 440 hardware. Main Features Easy install: No soldering, board mods, or special wiring—plug in and go. Permanent high-score saving: Uses EEPROM (not failure-prone NVRAM or batteries). High-score modes: Save all scores, Top 3, first score only, or disable saving. Per-game tables: Each title maintains its own high-score table. Attract sounds: Hear gameplay sounds, not just music (25%, 50%, or 100% rotation). Freeplay & Coin-Up: Play without coins or keep quarters/tokens enabled. Attract mode: Rotates through game demos to help minimize screen burn. Menu-driven DIP settings: Change options on-screen—no cabinet digging. ROM Saver: Original program ROMs must be removed (program runs on the kit). Backup & Restore: Save and restore high scores—great for parties or tournaments. Difficulty: Normal, Hard, Harder, or Hardest. Flexible menus: Choose a text list or a picture (marquee) menu.
